Do I have insurance?

Yes, I have public liability insurance.

Who owns the copyright of the photographs?

All picture copyright remains the property of Rachel Thomas Photography and may not be reproduced without the express permission of Rachel Thomas. I reserve the right to use any photographs for marketing purposes.

Bad weather conditions

If you have booked an outdoor location portrait session and the weather is bad on the day, I will contact you before I leave to discuss the options with you. We can rearrange to a different time in the day or rebook the shoot altogether (subject to any bookings I already have).

Would I lose my deposit if we had to rearrange the shoot?

If the weather conditions dictate that we have to rearrange the shoot then you will not lose your deposit.

Travelling distance

Local travel costs are included in the price. If I have to travel a long distance (more than 20miles) to reach your preferred location then I may need to charge additionally for this. Any additional travel costs will be agreed with you before the shoot.

Incurred costs

Any costs incurred in getting to your location (such as entrance fees or parking costs) will be added to the cost of the shoot.

Cancelling a photo session

If you wish to cancel a photo session, but can rearrange to another date, you will not lose your initial deposit as long as you contact me at least 7 days before the shoot to reschedule. If a future session is not rescheduled, then you will forfeit your deposit.
